Introducing Bacardi Tangerine

Bacardi tangerine

Nothing says Summer like Rum, unless you’re a tequila fiend, but I’m a rum kind of guy so I love this time of year because we tend to see a lot of awesome products hit the shelves. Bacardi Rum is keeping that trend going with the announcement of their newest flavored rum, Bacardi tangerine. It’s infused rich tangerine flavors to create a really tangy but fresh taste, inspired by the brands Caribbean heritage.

I’m interested to give it a try mostly because I was a fan of Bacardi O, their orange rum, for years, which I’m not sure if it’s going away or not. Either way, Tangerine isn’t something you see everyday so we’ll be sure to look out for it on the shelves or in our mailbox in the upcoming weeks.

In addition to the launch of Bacardi Tangerine in its funky cool bottle, Bacardi’s core flavors (BACARDÍ Limón, BACARDÍ Pineapple, BACARDÍ Coconut, BACARDÍ Mango and BACARDÍ Dragon Berry) will be getting a makeover as well. They didn’t just hire a bunch of fancy designers though, they actually enlisted the help of some of the worlds best bartenders on feedback for how the bottle should look and feel for the perfect pour.

Bacardi Tangerine will be available in all the traditional sizes (375,750,1.5) and should be hitting the shelves in your local package store now, just in time for some Summer Pool parties and trips to the beach. If you find yourself with a bottle, we’ve added a few BACARDÍ Tangerine cocktails courtesy of the brand below:

BACARDÍ Tangerine Tango:
3 parts orange juice
1 part BACARDÍ Tangerine

Fill a highball glass with ice. Pour in ingredients and mix well.

BACARDÍ Tangerine Drop:
½ part BACARDÍ Tangerine
½ part lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
Pour ingredients into a stainless steel shaker over ice and shake until completely cold.
Pour into chilled shot glass. Serve with sugar dipped orange wedge, or rim glass with sugar.

Cheers,
