Laphroaig Lore Launches in the U.S.

It’s a massive whisky, as bold as it is deep, and one that I sincerely hope does justice to our many generations of Laphroaig distillery managers,” said Campbell. “We make the whisky we make because of what has been passed on down to us. We haven’t been fortunate enough to taste it ourselves yet bet we will be reviewing it shortly. In the meantime, here are the tasting notes and description from the brand.
“Rich and deep with distinctive smoke, peat and seaside minerality, Lore is unmistakably Laphroaig. The remarkable flavor is the result of liquid being drawn from a selection of casks including ex-bourbon barrels, first-fill sherry butts, smaller quarter casks and Laphroaig’s most precious stocks.
It’s a bit on the expensive side, and by a bit I mean you might need to take our a small loan. Just kidding, but at $124.99 it definitely isn’t cheap. It’s bottled at 48% ABV and is available now nationwide! Celebrate World Whisk(e)y Day in style, or treat dad to a nice bottle of scotch.
