Bringing Holiday Cheer with Cider Cocktails

Christmas and New Year’s are right around the corner, and hopefully by now you’ve got your shopping done and plans made. The last thing you should have to worry about is the drinks menu, so we’re giving suggestions all week to some excellent cocktail ideas to try this week. Our friends from Angry Orchard recently passed these along and so we’re sharing them with all of you in hopes of helping you decide what to drink. Cider cocktails are a growing trend that works great for those that don’t want a heavy drink but would like something flavorful besides “beer”. Try these at home and let us know what you think!

Angry by the Fire

cider cocktailsIngredients

  • 4 oz. Angry Orchard Crisp Apple•       
  • 1.5 oz. Fireball
  • 2 oz. Orange Juice
  • 1 oz. Heavy Cream
  • 0.5 oz. Vanilla Syrup (simple syrup with vanilla extract)
  • 1 tsp. Lemon Juice

Shake and strain into a collins glass with no ice. Top with Angry Orchard Crisp Apple. Garnish with a pinch of cinnamon powder sprinkled on top.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Angry Orchard Crisp Apple
  • 1 oz. St. Germain
  • 2 oz. Champagne

Build in a champagne flute and garnish with a lemon twist
