Does anyone like Fall cocktails? Apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, mmmm. Well, I’ve got a good one we’re sipping on this weekend and I wanted to share it with our readers. It features one of our favorite liqueurs and a hard cider we usually keep handy in the fridge. Veev liqueur is an acai berry based liquor that we’ve been stuck on since we first tried it back in 2012. Since then they’ve relaunched with a stronger (now 70 proof) formula and a clever ad campaign asking drinkers to “cheat on vodka”. Then there’s Angry orchard, one of my favorite hard ciders on the market. I always keep a 6 pack in the fridge so it made it pretty easy to try this recipe. Combined it makes the perfect Fall cocktail to sip on. Enjoy
Angry Apple Press
2 oz VEEV
2 oz Angry Orchard Hard Cider
1 oz Soda
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
Build all ingredients including ice in a rocks glass. Stir and present with an apple garnish and sprinkle of cinnamon.
