Grammy Party with 901 Tequila

The biggest and best names in music will be in attendance this Sunday for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. If you got a kick out of last years host, LL Cool J, you’re in luck because he’s back again. It’s not easy hosting such a huge event, and so it comes without saying you have to be a special type of person to do it, and be invited back to do it again. While you and I will probably never get to host a show like the Grammys, we CAN host a Grammy watch party.

If you’ve been visiting the site over the years, you already know we’re huge fans of watch parties, mostly because its a great excuse to drink with friends that doesn’t involve long lines, cover charges, and being hit on at the bar. Just you, you’re closest friends and family, good food and good drinks.

This year, the most nominations, 9, belong to Jay-Z: rapper, music mogul, clothing designer, and former owner of Armadale vodka and current endorser of one of my favorite new cognacs, D’usse. But right behind him is a collective of superstars with 7 nominations including Justin Timberlake, who if you didn’t know, also has his pot in the alcoholic beverage world with his own brand, 901 Tequila. The name 901 comes from the time of night (9.01) when the night gets interesting, and also a nod to JT’s hometown area code.

So where are we going with this? Recently representatives for 901 sent us some awesome drink recipes, perfect for trying this weekend while hosting or attending a watch party and we wanted to pass it on to all of our readers. Check out the recipes below and let us know what you think!

Cheers!
