With Halloween coming up, I’m proud to say that this year we’ve received more emails from fans than ever looking for drink ideas. If you’re throwing a party and want a signature drink to make your friends remember YOUR party, I think I’ve got just the one. If you remember, this past summer we reviewed Bushel & Barrel’s apple whiskey. It’s definitely one of our top new liquors of 2014. We made an awesome apple Punch recipe with it but I REALLY was waiting for this time of year so I could make some fall cocktails with it. Here’s our first, and it’s DELICIOUS.
Berentzen’s Peaches & Scream Cocktail
- 2 oz. Berentzen Bushel & Barrel
- ½ oz. cream
- ½ oz. peach puree
- Pinch of cinnamon spice
- Brown sugar or colored sugar crystals for rim of glass
Combine Berentzen Bushel & Barrel, cream, and peach puree into ice-filled shaker. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with dash of cinnamon spice and peach slice.
