Maple Crown really doesn’t fit my palate for a cocktail, but I am convinced there is someway I can use it for preparing a marinade or a mop for my pork ribs. Have you got any ideas ? Sorry about the drink, but after 30 years of straight up Crown it just doesn’t work for me.

    • I bought this for my husband and he is having a hard time with it too. Hate to waste a bottle.

We just tried the Maple Crown. For our taste it is way to much maple flavor. It tastes like Maple Syrup with alcohol. Thinking about putting it on our waffles for New Years breakfast

    Try this…….
Fill a 3.5 oz dessert glass with French vanilla ice cream, then mix in 1 oz of Maple Crown.
    PERFECT!

  3. Maple taste is nice but a bit overpowering to the point you can no longer enjoy the base Crown Royal. Sorry.

  4. I tried mixing with ginger ale which was good but the maple flavor lingers for a very long time….which can get to be unpleasant….

Crown Royal Maple goes great with Egg Nog during the Holidays or anytime you can find good Egg Nog. Mix to taste. Very smooth

  6. I am also having troubles MIXING this Maple ‘wonder’…I’m still left wondering if I made a big mistake by purchasing it!
