Coming Soon: 360 Glazed Donut Vodka

…..In 1938, the Salvation Army declared the first Friday of every June as National Donut Day. Fast forward to 2012 and 360 vodka brand honors this sweet and decadent tradition with the release of their latest flavor, 360 Glazed Donut. I wish I could say I was shocked or amazed by this but at this point, could we really be? With so many flavors on the market it was only a matter of time before someone got to this, and 360 vodka timed it perfectly. If you’re wondering if the vodka will be as harsh on your waistline as the real thing, think again…

“Donut devotees can save some calories while still enjoying the flavor of their favorite hole-some treat. Compared to the pant-splitting 250 calories packed into the average donut, 360 Glazed Donut has a mere 80 calories (per 1.0 ounce shot).”

Wow… so not only is 360 an earth/eco-friendly brand (Each bottle of 360 Vodka is made with recycled glass, featuring reusable closures and recycled paper printed with water‐based eco‐friendly inks), but they’ve managed to throw in healthy conscious into their resume as well. Fresh batches of 360 Glazed Donut are already being shipped across the country and will be in your local bar/package store soon.  At only $15,99 a bottle and 70 proof, I have to think these might go by the dozen? Sorry, had to do it. Here are some cool recipes to try courtesy of 360 Vodka. Cheers.

Took a few tries to perfect. How about a “coffee and donuts” martini? Here is the recipe: 1shot coffee : 1shot Van Gogh Double Espresso vodka : 1/2 shot Irish Creme : 1/2 shot 360 double chocolate vodka and 1 1/2 shots 360 glazed donut vodka. Shake well and pour into chilled martini glass. Enjoy. Let me know what you think.
