Just in time for the return of Football Season, the folks over at Southern Comfort have released a limited edition football wrapped bottle. It officially kicks off their sponsorship with ESPN ( or “The Mothership” to Dan Patrick fans). They’ll be sponsoring the 2013 ESPN Fantasy Football season

“We’re extremely excited to release these unique football wrapped Southern Comfort bottles to kickoff the upcoming season,” said Jason Kempf, Southern Comfort Brand Director. “We encourage fans to pick up a bottle to enjoy with friends during their fantasy football drafts and throughout the 2013 football season.”

You can expect bottles to start showing up on shelves nationwide early this month. They’ll sell for the usual price of about 16.99 and will be available until supplies last

Not a bad idea, football and drinking pretty much go hand in hand. Although Soco isn’t necessarily the drink associated with tailgating, it is synonymous with drunken college parties across the country. College kids love football right? So why not kill two birds with one stone.  In addition to the bottle, fans can get in on a getaway sweepstakes too. One lucky fan gets a chance to go on a four day/three night stay trip to New York with a guest, from  Friday, January 31, 2014 to Monday, February 4, 2014. If you’re interested, you can enter by texting the word “SOCOFANTASY” to 68405 or online at www.socofantasygetaway.com.

That’s all for now. Cheers!
