Red Carpet Cocktails with Jim Beam

Tonight is the big night, and we’re still not sure who’s taking home the big Oscar, but one thing we do know is we won’t be bored waiting and anticipating the nights winners. Tonight is the 85th Academy Awards celebration and we’ll be sipping on some refreshing Oscars themed cocktail recipes including these one’s below courtesy of Jim Beam. Oscars watch parties are practically the housewife equivalent to Superbowl tailgating so let’s make this a night to remember. Try one of these red carpet cocktails out at your watch party and  let us know what you think. And as always, drink responsibly.

 

Martini 85Martini 85

  • 1/2 part Jim Beam Black® Bourbon
  • 1 part peach schnapps
  • Splash cranberry juice

Mix Jim Beam Black® Bourbon with peach schnapps, add a splash of cranberry juice, serve in a martini glass.

 

 

Lincoln’s Spice

Lincoln's Spice

  • 1 1/2 parts Red Stag by Jim Beam®
    Spiced Bourbon
  • 1 white sugar cube
  • 2 dashes of orange bitter
  • Orange and lemon wedge
  • Orange Zest, to garnish

In an old-fashioned glass, place 1/2 teaspoon sugar and 2 dashes bitters dissolved in water. Fill with ice. Pour 1-1/2 parts Jim Beam® Bourbon; add lemon wedge garnish.

  • 3 parts Jim Beam® Devil’s Cut™
  • 1 part DeKuyper Pomegranate
  • 1 part Martini & Rossi Rosso
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 3 dashes Fee Brother’s Aztec Chocolate Bitters

Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a flamed lemon peel dropped in.
