A Holiday Treat: Baileys Red Velvet Hot Chocolate
It’s that time of year! No matter if you’ve been living life in a bubble or you’re out and about as if nothing has happened, we can all agree on this, the holidays inspire some really tasty treats and recipes. Most of the country is seeing some pretty cold temperatures, and even here in Florida we’ve had a few sub 60 degree days ( yes that counts as cold here) so we’re breaking out the hot chocolate. But if you know how we do, you know hot chocolate in THIS house needs a little sum sum added to it. Our go to spike is usually either Baileys Irish Cream or RumChata. Given the holiday season, we’re using Bailey’s Red Velvet Irish cream to make it extra special. This time of year, red velvet is one of the most consumed cakes you’ll find, and it’s our second favorite cake flavor of all time ( Behind carrot cake of course!) So if you can’t eat it, drink it! Recipe is below, give it a try at home and tell us what you think!
