As you should know by now, September is National Bourbon Heritage month, so we’ve been sharing a few of our favorite drinks with our readers. Only a few days left in the month, so there’s your excuse to try some awesome new bourbon recipes. Today we’re featuring a drink from our friends at The Cocktail Bar at Windsor Court in New Orleans. New Orleans is our 3rd home, and if you haven’t been there to join in on the drink culture, put it on your calendar. But for now, you can drink like your in Nola with this cocktail.
The Cocktail Bar introduced this drink, called the Cynical parrot, to pay homage to both Bourbon Heritage month AND National Honey Month. It features a nice single barrel bourbon from Evan Williams, and barrel aged honey syrup. Try it this weekend and let us know what you think.
