Fourth of July Cocktails

4th of July!

…..Food, fireworks and fun are just around the corner. By now hopefully you’ve hit the grocery store, stocked up on your meats, and sides, and are ready for a grand 4th of July BBQ. Then again maybe you’re taking it easy this year and planning a trip to the beach or to the town fireworks display. Either way one think you don’t want to forget is your 4th of July drinks. Whether you go simple or go festive with red white and blue cocktails, you don’t want to come up short this drinking holiday. Here are some favorite drinks of mine that I think are perfectly patriotic for 4th of July and have you covered with Red, White, and Blue. Cheers!

The Red Card (Red):

  • 3 Parts Vodka
  • 1 Part Peach Liqueur
  • 1 Part Lemon Juice
  • Cranberry Juice
Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add ABSOLUT Vodka, lemon juice and peach liqueur. Shake and strain into a chilled highball glass filled with ice cubes. Topup with cranberry juice.

Coconut Paradiso (White): 
  • 1 1/4 part Coconut Vodka
  • 3/4 part Pineapple Vodka
  • 1/2 part Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 part Half and Half
  • 1/2 part Simple Syrup
Mix ingredients in a shaker filled with ice and strain into a chilled glass.

Blue Bomb-sickle (Blue) : (Simple, sweet, and perfect for a hot summers day)
  • 1 part Blue Raspberry Vodka
  • 3 parts Lemonade
Combine ingredients in a shaker, shake and strain into a chilled highball glass.
