…..Halloween is this upcoming Wednesday, but let’s be honest, many of us will be celebrating this weekend because this isn’t a non-working holiday. So we’ll just keep rolling out the spooky recipes leading up to the big day. A couple of years ago we came across this recipe and fell in love. It features premium cognac, Hennessy, and is about as festive as it gets. If garnished correctly, it looks just like a pumpkin, but if you’re looking for some pumpkin flavor, you wont find it here. Besides, we’ll have PLENTY of pumpkin cocktail recipes throughout the rest of the fall.

The Jack-O-Lantern
- 1 oz Hennessy VSOP Cognac
- 1 1/2 oz Orange Juice
- 1/2 oz Ginger Ale
- 1/2 oz Grand Marnier
- orange wheel and lime twist for garnish
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, strain into a lowball glass over ice. Float an orange wheel with a lime twist poked into the top. Enjoy
