Holiday Cocktail With Four Roses Bourbon
The Holidays are right around the corner, and every year around this time our inbox starts getting flooded with our readers asking us for drink suggestions. Well, one of our favorite Bourbons just sent us over a new cocktail to try this holiday season, and it’s delicious. It comes to us courtesy of Laura Moore, lead bartender at the The Epicurean Hotel located in Tampa, Florida and placed 3rd in the 2015 Charity Cocktail Challenge. It’s an apple-cinnamon-bourbon cocktail featuring Four Roses Bourbon and can serve one or can be scaled up to serve 10 so it’s perfect for festive occasions and with no pretense. The melding of flavors from the tea and simple syrup enhances the smooth Four Roses Small Batch. The apple goodness comes through because the simple syrup is made from simmering real apples and sugar. The bubbles from champagne or even prosecco elevate the flavors. You can enjoy this cocktail from now through New Years. For larger gatherings and parties, considering batching the ingredients in a punch bowl and create visual pow by freezing apple halves in ice to keep the punch chilled. Have a great week.
