Over 2.25 billion cups of coffee are consumed in the world every day. We use it to kick start our morning, keep us going through the middle of the work day, and even to help keep us up at night after a big meal. Then, there’s people like me that like to spike it with a little Jesus juice to help. Spiked coffee, adult coffee, Irish coffee, whatever you call it, it’s been a huge trend for years now to add a little something to your coffee to get you through your day. Growing up I was huge fan of iced coffee, but somewhere along the way lost my love for it in my mid 20’s. But i’m old now, and sometimes staying up after 10 isn’t so easy, so coffee is a regular part of my diet. If you like to add a little buzz to your coffee like me, here’s a good recipe for “Kentucky coffee”, along with an awesome info graphic, courtesy of Makers Mark Bourbon. Give it a try and tell us what you think.
