…..Any golfing fans out there? Though I hated it when I was younger, my interest in golf grows with each year I age. Though I’m no Tiger Woods (then again, Tiger is no Tiger woods these days…), I do like to hit the course once in a blue moon and live it up with friends. I don’t know about you, but when I think of golf, two things come to mind, tacky pants, and sweet tea. Nothing is more refreshing after (or during) 18 holes of madness than a ice cold glass of tea. And thanks to our friend Arnold Palmer, he introduced to us the drink of the same name. But let’s take it a bit further and try this recipe I received and LOVED called the Back Nine. It’s a perfect mixture of vodka and sweet tea accented by the tart taste of limoncello. Give it a try and next time your out on the green see if it doesn’t help our your game.
Back Nine
- 2 Parts Vodka
- 2 Parts Iced Tea
- 1 Part Limoncello Liqueur
- Lemon Zest
- Mint Leaves
Mix the iced tea, Limoncello and GREY GOOSE® Vodka in a cocktail shaker filled with ice, stir briskly. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice and float some grated lemon zest and mint leaves on top.
