…..The NFL season is off to a start, and one of the biggest rivalry games in the league is taking place on Thursday. Whether routing for the Packers or the Bears, or just enjoying a little competition, sports fans around the country will be tuning in to see Green Bay and Chicago (GO Bears!) go head-to-head. After all, it IS the biggest rivalry in football. Football and Tailgating go together like peanut butter & jelly so celebrate this seasons first Thursday Night Football matchup with these Bears/Packers cocktail courtesy of Jim Beam.
The Championship Belt (Green Bay Packers)
- 1 part Jim Beam Black®
- ¾ parts Fresh Sour
- 2 ½ parts Lemon – Lime soda
Build cocktail over ice in a tall highball glass. Garnish with a wedge of lemon or lime.
Monsters of the Midway (Chicago Bears)
- 3 parts Red Stag by Jim Beam® Black Cherry Bourbon
- 4 parts Ginger ale
- Lime Wedge
Fill a highball glass ¾ with ice. Pour in Red Stag by Jim Beam® Black Cherry Bourbon and ginger ale. Garnish with lime.
