The folks over at Heaven Hill Distillery have found an interesting way to interject themselves into the Presidential Election of 2012. Are you a Republican or a Democrat? It’s a simple question that not everyone likes to answer but thanks to the fine folks at Heaven Hill Distilleries you can show your political affiliation proudly by simply raising your glass.
Heaven Hill hopes to raise political awareness, create product buzz, and donate to the U.S. military with the release of it’s new Red State Blue State Bourbon line. The products are identically labeled bottles with the exception of color so that you can make your affiliation known and each offer a slightly different and unique taste. As part of the release, the bourbon plans to launch a viral Facebook campaign where “Likes” gained during January 3rd and November 6th will lead to donations to the U.S. military.
