In just a couple of weeks, the San Antonio Cocktail Conference kicks off. It’s molded after the wildly popular Tales of the Cocktail event held annually in New Orleans. Each year in San Antonio they bring together the top bar tenders and mixology experts for four days of educational seminars, tastings, and cocktail parties. Proceeds for the event go to HeartGift San Antonio; a group of surgeons, pediatric cardiologists, medical personnel, volunteers, and host families dedicated to providing life saving surgery to disadvantaged children living in developing countries where specialized treatment is scarce.
We’ve never had the pleasure of making it out to the SACC but if it’s anything like TOTC, we need to make it a point to go. First timers can expect some of the best renditions of classic cocktails, creative and unique new drinks, and information from some of the best minds around the world.
